Physics
the increase of my physics criterion A from a 3 to a 7 over two summative in semester 1 of year 10. I had revised a lot in order to achieve this improvement and took a lot more notes in class. As of now, I am more proud of how my grades turned out

I can definetely say that year 10 was the biggest change for me as a person and academic-wise. I had changed my mind on so many subjects and gotten grades in certain subjects which I would have never expected them in.
For example, physics, which used to be my weakest subject, turned out much more manageable in year 10, as my grades had increased tremendously throughout the year. I went from 2's and 3's, to mostly 5's-7's and even a couple 8's. I even ended up getting a very strong 6 in my mock examination for physics, which I was extremely surprised about.
Humanities, which used to be one of my favourite subjects, fell off for me and I didnt enjoy it as much. I still scored decent grades, but these grades wouldn't be considered up to my year 7's expectations. Though I still got a 6 for mocks and multiple 7's in class, I realized something much more important, that humanities wasn't a subject that appealed to me as much anymore, and this was a huge change for me as it was my favourite for 3 years. I am glad, though, that I was able to find what i truly liked so that it can help me in the future.
Chemistry was a subject that started becoming one of my favourites in year 10, and I had mainly scored 8's and 7's throughout the year. My mock examination for chemistry was a 7. I never expected myself to like the subject, but as I learned more about it properly in year 10, I was able to see what it was actually like.
My eportfolios were also a shock, as I had recieved high grades for PHE that i would have never imagined myself getting, I got multiple 6's and 7's, which I hadnt expected as I was never good at the subject. DD on the other hand, i performed slightly worse than what I hoped to do, but im still proud of what I created and the effort that I put into it.
English was the most surprising out of all the subjects, it was a subject I thought i could never do well at, until I got a 7 for my mock examination. In year 7, for june exams, I had scored a 3, and I had given up on english since then. But then getting a 7 for mocks made me realize that some things could be achievable if I had just worked harder on them.
